How to manage staff app permissions

The staff app is used to send shift details to staff and companies can configure which details are communicated to their workers.

Step 1: Navigate to App Permissions

  • Go to the Admin Page via the main navigational menu

  • In the Admin Page, find the 'App Permission' section on the left hand tool bar.

Step 2: Set Field Visibility For the Staff App

  • Select which shift fields you wish to make visible to your staff members.

  • Shift fields can be enabled/disabled at different stages of the booking process

    • Job Board: When enabled, this field will be visible for shifts accessed via the Job Board page in the app.

    • Upcoming Shifts: When enabled, this field will be visible when staff have been confirmed for shifts i.e. when the shift is accessed via the Upcoming page in the app.

    • Review: When enabled, this field will be visible for historic shifts worked by staff i.e. when the shift is accessed via the Review page in the app

Step 3: Set Profile Management Ability for Staff

  • At the bottom of the 'App Permission' section, you can enable/disable which fields are visible to staff via the 'My Profile' page in the app.

  • You can also enable/disable which fields are editable via the 'My Profile' page should you wish to allow staff to edit various details such as their contact info.
