How can staff login?
Once they have downloaded the app or accessed the website, staff will be able to login with a valid username and password that a user with operator level has provided them.
Managers may send login details to staff via the Staff page or the Admin page.
How can you assist staff?
Staff may access their own help center via https://utraconline.zendesk.com and contact support@utraconline.com for technical assistance. Staff should be advised to contact their employers in the event of experiencing difficulties logging in.
What can staff do on the uTRAC App?
View Upcoming Shifts
The primary function of the uTRAC App is for staff to review shifts that have been confirmed for them by Schedulers. Staff may access their shifts in the 'My Jobs' section of the app and will notice that confirmed shifts appear GREEN on their calendar.
Respond to Personal Shift Requests
Staff may also interact with shifts that they are currently set to 'Request Sent', via the My Jobs page. Currently active requests will appear PURPLE on their calendar and staff may click requests to 'accept' or 'decline' the shift.
Respond to Job Board Posts
Staff may view shifts and projects that have been advertised to them via the job board tab located in their My Jobs page. Here they may select upcoming jobs and declare if they are 'interested' or 'not interested' facilitating schedulers to select interested staff for upcoming work.
Confirm Attendance Via GPS
Once a project has been enabled for GPS sign in, confirmed staff will see an option to both Sign In & Out of the shift by clicking into the shift from their Calendar. If they are within the clock in vicinity of the project's clock in location, their status will update either to 'Onsite' or 'Offsite'.
Sign Teammates In/Out of Shifts
Senior staff and supervisors may access sign in sheets in the app so they can mark scheduled staff 'Onsite' or 'Offsite'. Staff with the requisite permissions may access their current sign in sheets via the 'Sign In Now' option in the app menu.
Submit Leave Requests
Staff staff may submit requests for days they would prefer not to be scheduled via their Calendar and the Availability pages in the app. Note any requests need to be approved by an operator user to block any eventual assignments to staff.
Submit Availability
Customers may enable an feature to allow staff to submit days that they are available to work and schedulers will receive warnings when booking staff who've not submitted their availability. When this feature is disabled, all staff are assumed to be available as the default setting in uTRAC.
Update Their Profiles
Companies may enable staff to update their data via the Profile page in the app. Admin are recommend to review which fields they wish to be editable to staff prior to initiating rollout of the staff logins.
